Responding to speculation that some NC leaders may join the BJP, Omar dismissed such reports as baseless. “If any leader from my party wants to go, they are free to go. But as far as I know, all of this is just rumors. In Kashmir, names change and such rumors keep spreading, but the situation inside my National Conference is not like that,” he clarified.
